Talk about what to do in an earthquake.
A: if you are indoors/in the kitchen,what do you do?

If you are indoors

  • Take cover under a sturdy table, desk, bench or brace yourself in a doorway or corner.
  • Stay away from windows, books, china cabinets, heavy mirrors, hanging plants and other heavy objects, which may slide and topple.
  • Grab anything handy (coat, blanket, books, newspapers, cardboard box, etc) to shield your head and face from falling debris and splintering glass.
  • Do not use candles, matches or other open flames because of possible gas leaks.
If you are in the kitchen
  • Quickly turn off the stove
  • Don't go out running
  • Don't to be near of windows, mirrors and glasses doors.
  • Don't be nervese.
  • Don't to be near of electrical cables.
